A New Addition to the Family

This is J.J. an Australian Galah,J.J. is a girl she was found on the side of the road about 2 weeks ago by a friend, J.J. was dripping wet and appeared not to be able to fly,so my friend asked if me and DH (Bryan) would like her, of course we couldn't refuse could we. J.J. is very tame and also a very young bird we think only about 2 months old,when we got her she didn't know how to eat seed by that I mean she didn't know how to crack seed so we gave her hulled oats just to build her up as she was very thin and we weren't sure if she would even survive. We have now got her onto small seed that is easy for her to crack and hopefully in a little while she can go over to Sunflower seed which is her staple diet, she is trying to talk and can almost say hello, so now besides my 2 dogs and some birds we now have J.J.
